Mid-Elm Lofts: Historic Buildings Turned Into Homes
We were chosen to design and install the custom frameless glass enclosures for the Mid-Elm Lofts renovation, a redevelopment of three historic buildings totaling 55,000 square feet. Current plans call for 25 residential units, with an architect who specializes in preservation-based design on the project team.
Projects at this scale depend on close coordination with the general contractor, the property manager, and every other trade on site, and on consistent hardware packages from one unit to the next. The renderings and site photographs below follow the project from demolition to the planned street frontage and rooftop deck.
