Custom Etched Glass in Dallas

Privacy glass that still lets the daylight in

Etched Glass That Balances Privacy and Daylight

Etched glass softens what can be seen through a panel without shutting out the light behind it. We offer privacy levels from a light frost to full obscurity, and we can leave a clear band at eye level or along the top so the room keeps its open feel. Etched areas also hide fingerprints and water spots better than clear glass, so a shower looks tidy between deep cleans.

Designs run from plain frosting to patterns, borders, house numbers and monograms. For offices and storefronts we etch logos or a branded stripe, which also makes a glass partition easier to see. Bring inspiration photos to your free consultation, or pick a pattern from our library.

Bathrooms are where most of our etching goes: shower doors, fixed panels and transoms. A heavier frost on the lower section covers the splash zone, while a lighter top keeps morning light moving through the room. Entry and pantry doors carry a monogram or street number well, and cabinet inserts get a soft frost that hides what sits on the shelves.

The same finish works on wine room doors and sidelights, mirrors with etched borders or logos, office partitions and conference rooms, stair rail infill, balcony privacy screens, and table tops with patterned edges or a center medallion. We can also carry one motif across several pieces, so your shower, custom mirrors and interior doors read as a single design.

We start on site, confirming sizes and mapping sightlines so the frosted areas land exactly where you want privacy. Your artwork is then proofed to scale for sign-off, sized so the details line up with hinges, handles and clips instead of getting cut off.

We etch before the glass is tempered so the design and the safety rating are both protected, and we suggest tempered or laminated glass depending on where each panel goes. Our in-house installers then set and seal every panel for a clean, watertight fit.

Care is simple: a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth, with no scrub pads that could dull the frost. Squeegee shower panels after use to keep minerals off the etch. If we are replacing an old enclosure, we remove it for free when applicable.
