We fabricate and install precision-cut, custom glass doors, and enclosures for showers and baths in three popular design types:

How To Get Your Free Estimate
Shower Doors of Dallas offers three ways to get an estimate. All estimates are considered preliminary until construction work is complete and our shower glass contractor has taken final measurements on-site.
On-Site - We recommend calling to schedule a free on-site estimate after all remodeling, tile work, and repairs are completed in your tub or shower. Our experienced shower glass contractor will take accurate measurements and provide pricing specific to your shower project. They can also help you select glass and hardware options that complement your bathroom design. We are available for pre-remodeling consultations should you like assistance in designing your enclosure.
By Phone - We can provide ballpark estimates over the phone from your general description of the project, including enclosure type, configuration, glass style, etc. If you have measurements, we can provide a more accurate price. Please consult our Configuration and Measurement Guide before you call to expedite your quote request.
Online - Our convenient Online Request Form is an easy way to send us your project information 24/7. Use the step-by-step screens to select shower style, configuration, and design options. You may also upload pictures of your shower and include notes or questions for our estimators. Estimates are completed during business hours and typically emailed to you within one business day.
How To Place A Firm Order
Placing a firm order requires three things:
- Final Measurements - If you received an estimate online or by phone, we'll need to schedule an appointment for one of our field technicians can take final measurements. While preliminary measurements are fine for estimating purposes, they are not detailed enough for fabrication. Final measurements need to be taken after all remodeling and tile work is complete.
- Design Confirmation - We will review and confirm the details of your estimate, such as design type, glass selection, hardware options, and dimensions. We want your specifications to be correct, as all materials are custom orders.
- Deposit - A 50 percent deposit is required to place an order, with the balance due upon completion. All major credit cards, checks, and cash are accepted. Your order will go into production upon receipt of the deposit payment.
Expected Lead Time From Order To Completed Install
Typically, fabrication requires 7 to 10 business days from the time a firm order is placed. (Specialty options may take longer.) Once an installation day is set, most projects are completed in 2 to 6 hours, depending on their size and complexity. Projects with multiple enclosures may require several days.
How Long To Wait To Use Your New Shower Enclosure
The sealant on multi-panel shower enclosures needs 24 to 48 hours to cure completely before use. During this time, you should not touch, move, or disturb the enclosure, as movement of the door or any part of the structure may cause functional problems and result in aesthetic issues.
The Difference Between Regular Glass, Low-Iron Glass, And Satin Glass
Regular clear glass contains varying amounts of iron, which gives the material a slight green tint that becomes more apparent as the glass gets thicker.
Low-iron glass has been specially formulated to produce a more color-neutral result. Low-iron glass is available in standard and ShowerGuard versions.
Satin Etch and SatinDeco glass have been acid-treated to produce a frosted look that transmits light while offering privacy with a soft-focus effect.
